Where is Pasargadae?

Pasargadae is located in the Fars province of Iran, approximately 70 kilometers northeast of Persepolis. It sits within the Murghab Plain, a region rich in historical significance, offering visitors a glimpse into the ancient Achaemenid Empire founded by Cyrus the Great in the 6th century BC.

• Entrance fee: 500,000 Rials (approximately 1 USD) for foreign tourists.
• Visiting hours vary by season: in spring and summer, tickets are sold from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM with the site closing at 7:30 PM; in autumn and winter, tickets are sold from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the site closing at 5:30 PM.
